    Meet Our Trainers

The TEFL teacher training center at Chiang Mai currently has 2 full-time and 2 part-time trainers. Our full-time trainers have over 20 years of combined experience training ESL and EFL teachers. The four trainers together have over 30 years’ experience living in Thailand and SE Asia.

All our teachers are extremely dedicated and hard working professionals. Our center’s overall trainee satisfaction ratings have consistently been 4.9/5.0 and above. Thanks to their continued dedication, we can proudly say that our Chiang Mai training center has one of Thailand’s most competent and professional training staff

    Our Full Time Trainers

    Eric

Originally from Minneapolis, Eric completed his education in UK in 1998. Eric has traveled widely throughout SE Asia and is a monthly columnist with The Chiang Mai News. He has also been published by the Bangkok Post. Currently settled in Chiang Mai, Eric has been training teachers since 2007. He is an avid Newcastle United FC supporter but manages to get along just fine with Simon.

    Simon

Simon is from London and has been training teachers since 2004. He enjoys cycling and reading novels. When he is not training teachers, Simon pursues his love for Thai music. He has sung on stage alongside some of Thailand’s well known bands. He is a supporter of Chelsea FC but that doesn’t stop him from teaming up with Eric on-site for the job.

    Our Part Time Trainers

Our two part-time trainers are also well-versed with the teaching industry and its challenges. One of the trainers is the head of the English Department at chiang-mai’s most prestigious university; the other is a full-time primary school teacher at a local international school in Chiang Mai Town.
