    The School

The TEFL school in France overlooks the beautiful Jardin des Plantes in central Toulouse, France. This 4 week TEFL certificate course provides the qualification and training needed to teach English around the world and also fulfills the British Council recommendations for TEFL courses. The program is accredited by IATQuO, the International Accreditation of TESOL Qualifying Organizations, which exists to promote and maintain internationally acceptable standards in the training of teachers of English to speakers of other languages.

You will have a minimum of 6 hours observed teaching practice, plus observations of experienced teachers. Upon completion, you will receive an official certificate from IATQuO, numbered and stamped, showing completion of the course and a certificate for future employers highlighting your performance and providing explanation of your grades.

The fees include course materials, welcome drinks and snacks, and end of course celebrations including champagne and lunch/dinner. We are sometimes able to include a post course session - usually on Monday - on how to set up living in France: For example, opening a bank account, finding accommodation, setting up as a freelancer, etc.

The School facilities and location / parking

All materials that you need are included, but do bring your laptop if you have one. The training center has classrooms with computers, photocopying, remote printing, WIFI, coffee making, a kitchen and eating facilities. As we are in the nice and leafy area of the city next to the parks, most trainees just go out to get a breath of fresh air and a coffee or a sandwich at lunchtime. Free parking spots can often be found about 5 minutes’ walk away - otherwise you can probably park right in front of the school, for a low fee.
