Moving into a new city at first may seem like a daunting feet. This is not the case with our school since
we will take care of all the necessary arrangements for you to make this transition as comfortable and
easy as possible. This goes for housing as well. You will need a place to stay in for the duration of
your course. Upon completion of your course you may decide to make your own housing arrangements if you
wish to stay in the city or move elsewhere. For housing, we offer the following options:
Hotel
For many students it is very convenient to stay at the 3 star hotel that offers our students excellent
rates since it is conveniently located near the school at only a 15 minute walk and just steps away from
the Historic Downtown Area of Prague. Another advantage of staying in this housing option is that you will
be housed with several other trainees from our school and interesting people who are visiting Prague. This
hotel offers excellent fully furnished and modern private rooms with queen beds, TV, hot water, and excellent
service. The hotel rooms do not count with kitchen facilities but does count with a cafeteria in the lobby
for a quick breakfast to help get your day started. It is also conveniently located near several restaurants
that offer excellent budget meals. This housing option has a cost of only 370.00 Euros for the entire 4
weeks duration of your course.
Shared Apartments
These apartments are shared with another TEFL trainee with each person getting their own individual room.
All apartments are fully furnished, and contain everything you need for your stay like fully equipped kitchen
and laundry facilities. Most of our apartments are in either Prague 2 or 3. Some are very close to the
centre and only a 5-10 minute walk from Wenceslas Square and our school. The other apartments are about
a15-minute tram ride away. Housing for all apartments begins on the Friday before the start of your course
to the following Sunday. This housing option has a cost of only 400.00 Euros. If you are planning on arriving
a few days later, or need to stay in your flat a little longer, it is not a problem at all, but you will be
asked to cover each night at an extra rate of about 16 Euro per night.
Private Apartments
For individuals wishing to stay alone or for couples, we can offer private apartments in the city. These
flats are located in Prague 2 in Vinohrady - one of the nicest areas of the city, and Prague 3 in Zizkov. The
private apartments are fully furnished a count with a fully equipped kitchen for you to prepare all your
meals. The cost for the private flats is only 450.00 Euros for individuals and 550.00 Euros for couples.
Getting your own place
If you decide to arrange your own housing for the course, we recommend Happy House Rentals -
www.happyhouserentals.com. The
majority of their staff speaks English very well and they will do a great job of finding you accommodations
in the city. If you are interested in securing something long term right away, these are the people to
contact. After the course, graduates are expected to find their own place in the city. In general, housing
is very easy to find in the city, but if you need assistance, we will be there to help.
